1、 How to use chain and precautions
1. Before using the chain and the chain sling, the working load and the scope of application on the label must be clearly seen. Overloading is strictly prohibited. The chain sling can only be used after visual inspection.
2. In normal use, the lifting angle is the key to affect the load, and the maximum lifting angle should not exceed 120 degrees, otherwise it will cause partial overload of the chain rigging.
3. It is forbidden to connect the chains with irregular connectors.
4. It is forbidden to hang the load-bearing chain rigging directly on the components of the crane hook or wind it on the hook.
5. Temperature has a certain influence on the use of chain rigging.
6. The lifting point of the lifting hook shall be on the same plumb line with the center of gravity of the lifting load, so as to keep the lifting load in a stable and balanced state and prevent the lifting from sliding or overturning.
7. It is forbidden to twist, twist and knot between the links, and the adjacent links should move flexibly.
8. When lifting heavy objects, the lifting, lowering and stopping should be slow and stable. The objects to be lifted should be stable and avoid impact load. It is not allowed to hang heavy objects on the chain for a long time.
9. Don't try to pull the chain sling from under the heavy load or let the heavy load roll on the chain.
10. The chain should be cleaned and tested after use. The storage place should be ventilated, dry and free of corrosive gas.
2、 Scrapping standard of chain rigging of Taizhou Kunda lifting equipment Co., Ltd
The chain shall be scrapped in case of any of the following conditions:
1. There are obvious cracks, paint dropping and rust on the chain surface.
2. The chain has obvious internal corrosion.
3. The chain is seriously deformed, knotted or stretched more than 5%.
4. The chain and lifting ring or hook link are damaged.
5. When the complete set of chain rigging is used, the included angle often exceeds 120 degrees.
6. In case of exceeding the rated load of the chain sling, lift and pull heavy objects.
7. The wear of chain diameter is 10% of the original diameter.
